Our Mission

Transforming wound care documentation to give providers more time with patients and less time with paperwork

The Problem We Lived

OmniWound EMR was born from real frustration experienced by our founder, Dr. Diane Lusas, during her time as Medical Director at Integrated Wound Care (IWC). While traveling between facilities in Connecticut, she encountered the same documentation challenges that plague wound care specialists nationwide.

Traditional EMR systems forced providers through endless clicks, unintuitive screen flows, and required bouncing between different software sections just to complete basic encounter documentation. Even worse, these systems weren't designed for traveling providers, making facility-level scheduling nearly impossible.

Dr. Lusas knew there had to be a better way. In 2019, she partnered with experienced software engineers to create the EMR she wished she had – one built specifically for the unique workflows of traveling wound care specialists.
